Roda nilon cor (PA6) dan nilon berpengisi serat kaca mengusung beban tinggi dengan hambatan gulir hampir nol, tahan terhadap air, alkali, dan sebagian besar pelarut, serta tetap bekerja di tempat karet atau PU akan menggelembung.
Nilon adalah roda yang ekonomis untuk logistik dalam ruangan yang kering: troli, keranjang rak, flow rack, dan sistem FIFO.
Keterbatasannya adalah benturan dan kebisingan: nilon meneruskan kejutan alih-alih menyerapnya, sehingga muatan sensitif atau ruang kerja berpenghuni biasanya menspesifikasikan PU. Di beton kering yang datar dengan muatan stabil, tidak ada yang menggulir lebih mudah untuk harganya.
